Book Group Rules
- No long books
- No old books
- No new books
- Exceptions may apply
- One absolute veto per member per meeting
- A veto must be accompanied by a credible alternative (or penalty may apply)
- The book may be read by a proxy (or not at all)
- Sound understanding or slight knowledge is sufficient for any view of any strength
- No referrals from other book groups
- The name of the jug-eared leader of the opposition must never be mentioned
- No meetings in school holidays. Extraordinary meetings may be held during school holidays but no talking about the current book.
- Meetings will usually be held in pubs
